I League fixtures and schedule 2018 is not announced yet by management as soon as we are getting any update we will update on ileague live.The Indian Football League, iLeague has gained momentum over the past few years as the sport itself became a favorite and quite popular among Indians. Starting out from a very different direction, where football was a customary exercise followed by armies to stay fit, football has seen a surprising change and recognition in the past few years in India. iLeague, covered as the Indian Football news, has been conducted in India with 17 seasons enjoyed, praised and celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm. The 10 football clubs that have evolved over time have shown incomparable sportsmanship and energy that has always left the crowd cheering from the edge of their seats.

When it’s India, there is always glitz and glamour and so much more that adds up to the energy of every event. Same goes for iLeague of 2017, the best of Indian Football the latest edition that took place in April and was received with exuberance and excitement from all over the country. Setting plan for the fixtures and schedule for the upcoming league now scheduled in 2018, let’s have a look at how the teams and football clubs fought for fame and glory in the 17th edition of iLeague, the premier football league of India by analyzing the ileague fixtures and schedule.

UPSETS AND MOST HYPED MATCHES OF Ileague 2017

The ileague fixture and ileague schedule had a total of fierce 16 rounds with each team taking out on the other and fighting for glory

Starting off with a head to head comeback of East Bengal and Aizawl, both the teams scoring one goal each in their very first match and the first round of iLeague, 2017. Both played gallantly and it was well-anticipated that they would be ending up right into the finals taking third and first place respectively in the league.

The second round ended up being more of sided games that ended with to zero scores in most matches. Although all teams fought pretty well in this ileague fixture, still some managed to stand out from the rest, like Aizawl, Bengaluru and East Bengal.

This was an upset given Chennai ended among the bottom teams and managed to actually defeat the team that outperformed most and settled on the top position at the end of the league.

The sixth round and seventh had Minerva and Churchill tying the match with no scores on each side, Aizawl gaining back the momentum yet being beaten by the champ of the round of ileague schedule, Began, that floored mercilessly Bengaluru for 3-0 and had a squaring match almost with Aizawl yet won the throne at the end of it. The matches were getting all fired up as the teams competed for the ultimate glory of being crowned as the winner of the iLeague, 2017. All matches were fierce and full of passion that showed how much India had grown to adore and worship the football culture.

The eight round had Aizawl gaining the lost glory by defeating Churchill for 3-1 and Bengaluru vs Minerva and East Bengal vs Began squaring it off for 1-1 and 0-0 respectively. Overall, the round was a deathmatch with teams fighting back to avenge their defeats in the previous rounds of ileague fixtures.

The ninth round had the crowds hanging to the edge of their chairs as the nail biting matches all ended up with ties. No team was able to stand out and take the glory to themselves as all of them fought and made it even.

The tenth round Aizawl and East Bengal went head to head and towards the end, Aizawl managed to score a goal and take the title of the winner home. Another match to watch out for was Churchill against Minerva as the two battled with 4 scores each until Minerva put one more through the goal post and took the title home.

The eleventh round had the audience biting their nails and watching with full anticipation as the clubs went head to head to give in their best to end up at the top of the points ileague table. Aizawl, Churchill and East Bengal were the clear victors of the round and had floored their competitors to the ground.

The twelfth round begins and with clearly Began and East Bengal taking clear leads among the competitors. Only 4 more rounds to go, the fate had already been decided for most teams like Mumbai FC, which had a total score of only 19 points towards the end of the season ended up among the bottom teams of ileague.

The thirteenth round began and had the teams fighting for glory and evening the pace as the teams fought to win the champion’s title for Indian Football, iLeague.

The fourteenth round and Mumbai and Churchill being floored all over again yet surviving to maintain their self-esteems. Managing to pull themselves together, they fought valiantly but failed to overperform the beasts of the league.

Fifteenth round, the second to last one and Aizawl losing to Bengaluru for 1-0 yet Mumbai still not managing to stay afloat but evened the match against Churchill. Now the final sixteenth round had Aizawl making a comeback and flooring Churchill and standing out clearly in the rounds.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM iLEAGUE 2018 FIXTURES AND SCHEDULE

The schedule and fixtures for ileague for 2018 is said to be very similar to that of 2017, with about 16 rounds each comprising of 4 to 5 matches and having every team battling it out in the football grounds of India, way more than once so the fans can enjoy the relive the moments and get the chance to support their favorite clubs.

We are expecting Aizawl to come back in full form and defend the crown. Whereas, East Bengal and Began who managed to settle at 3rd and 22nd positions respectively, will be expected to give in their A game to fight for the first spot. Mumbai FC although ended at the last spot can be anticipated to make a full on come back in the next year’s installment of iLeague, 2018 as we await the schedule and fixture of ileague for the 18th edition.
